EP 96 - THE CHRISTMAS BIGFOOT AKA KARAKONCOLOS!

We are less than a week away from Christmas which means we have time for one more story about a Christmas cryptid! For this week's episode I want to share a story about a cryptid that has a lineage linked all over the world. It is known around the world and on our podcast as a legend and I just found out that it expanded its territory into the holidays. So without further adieu I’d like to introduce you all to the Christmas Bigfoot. Known in Serbia and Turkey as Karakoncolos and in Bulgaria as Karakondjul. He only comes out during the coldest days of the year in search of causing mischief and terror among the people who are unlucky enough to come into contact with him.

For your reference here’s Serbia, Bulgaria, and Turkey on a map

Some holiday cheer from a legend
